Debra is a Partner and Board Director of Albourne Partners Limited. As Asia Region Head, she is responsible for Albourne’s practice across Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan while overseeing Albourne’s Portfolio Group strategy, advice and delivery of client outcomes in Asia. Her experience spans 32 years in the financial industry including equity research, equity and fixed income asset management and alternatives advisory.
She supports the industry as an AIMA Singapore Exco member and Chair of SBAI’s Singapore Advisory Committee. She is also an independent director of the UBS Optimus Fund Singapore DAF and a member of the Albourne Women’s Network.
Mahesh Kumar is the Co-Founder of Farro Capital, a multi-family office and fund manager based in Singapore and Dubai. He focuses on the management and growth of the firm, and launch of various products and services. He also leads the firm’s wealth advisory and structuring platform. Mahesh was previously a tax partner at Withers Worldwide, a leading international law firm focused on private wealth. He has advised clients on complex cross-border structures for funds, investments and business operations. He also advises families on multi-generational succession and wealth planning strategies as well as structures for family offices, trusts and cross-border philanthropy. He was ranked by Singapore Business Review in an exclusive list of the most influential lawyers in Singapore. He is an elected member of the Executive Committee of the International Fiscal Association, Singapore. He is regularly invited to speak at major forums and quoted by leading publications.
Having joined OMERS Asia in January 2021 in the Capital Markets team, Ani is responsible for building out the public and private credit capabilities for OMERS in Asia. Working closely with the regional and global OMERS teams as well as with external counterparties, the Asia credit team looks to build a diversified and sustainable pan-Asia performing credit strategy focused on absolute returns. Prior to joining OMERS, Ani was a portfolio manager at Nexus Investment Advisors HK where he managed long-biased absolute return credit funds, and was a senior member of the team managing private credit capital. Ani has over 18 years of research and investing experience in the Asian credit markets, and has previously worked at long-short Asian credit funds as well as led industry-leading teams at Bank of America Merrill Lynch looking at public and private credit. Ani started his career in India in 2001 with ICICI Limited, and has a keen interest in understanding and underwriting the regional growth story in Asia. Ani is a Chartered Accountant by training, and holds a Post-Graduate degree in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad
Royston is the regional head for Private Investments within BNP Paribas Wealth Management in Asia since 2010. He is based in Singapore. He was in a similar role at Bank of Singapore for 3 years prior to joining BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Royston spent seven years of his career with TIF Ventures Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Singapore Economic Development Board. TIF Ventures managed the US$1.3 Billion Technopreneurship Investment Fund, a “fund of funds” established to promote the venture capital and private equity investments in Singapore. In this capacity, he originated, diligenced and completed numerous investments in private equity funds globally. Royston started his career with the National Science and Technology Board of Singapore (now Agency for Science, Technology and Research, A*STAR) where he was responsible for evaluating both public and private R&D proposals for government funding. Royston graduated with a Master of Science degree from the National University of Singapore.
Steven has over 14 years’ experience in alternative investments, with a focus on private equity fund and direct investments. He has held leadership roles in investment teams at global institutional asset managers, including Unigestion, Partners Capital, 57 Stars, and StepStone. He began his career in mainland China, focusing on mid-market buyouts in the consumer sector. Steven holds a Bachelor's (Gen Honors) from the University of Chicago.
